In honor of the 2012 International Year of Cooperatives, StrongerTogether.coop has upped the ante on prizes for this year's My Co-Op Rocks video and photo contest. Six winning filmmakers and shutterbugs will receive up to $1,500 in gift certificates at any co-op (or a donation to their favorite charitable organization). So spread the word to everyone you know who's passionate about their cooperative – tell them, “Now’s your chance to show the world just how your co-op rocks!”The contest opens March 1 and photo and video submissions are due by April 30, 2012. Voting continues through May 31. Winners are selected through popular vote and you can vote daily for your favorites – so tell all your friends!
